HomeSafe Inspection (Infrared)

Prior to selling our home we hired a home inspector, so that there would be no major surprise when our buyers would do their inspection. Unfortunately, when the eventual buyer inspection did happen, their inspection uncovered more items, some of them substantial. So we resolved to have two inspectors on different days during our own due diligence period when we found a home to purchase just to be sure we would not miss anything.

We were very lucky to have chosen Michael Berger from Homesafe as our second inspector. The house we were purchasing was built in 1974. Our first inspector spent 4 hours in the home and came up with a tiny list of minor items to correct. He also spoke very highly of the home, and thought it was an excellent purchase.

Michael Berger arrived the next day, and from the beginning he demonstrated a deeper level of knowledge than the first inspector. He had surmised that there were no permits for any of the extensive remodeling work that was done by spotting several code violations right off the bat on an external inspection.

Michael also spent a great deal of time explaining both quality work he noted, and items that were of concern. We discovered asbestos tape on the duct work which ultimately became a major concern, and in conjunction with the lack of permits saved us from purchasing a major headache. I highly recommend Michael and Homesafe, and would use them again in the future in a heartbeat!

It was our first home inspection and Ray did a GREAT JOB! He caught construction details that even the county inspector overlooked. Ray was very helpful and really quick answering back our questions. Thanks

I called on a Friday and I was able to get my inspection scheduled for the following day. Rob was timely and very knowledgable. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a home inspection.

This is my first experience using HomeSafe Inspection company and I have to say that it was a great one! First I called about having an inspection on a Thursday and they were able to schedule an inspection the next day. On the day of the inspection the inspector got to the house on time and seemed very experienced in his field of work and the inspection was very thorough. The inspector even took the time to go over how to use certain things around the house. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have an inspection performed on their house. Overall great value for the service that was provided.

Dallas Gamble was very easy to work with. He was friendly, good at communicating and answered my questions about mold in our crawlspace thoughtfully. He arrived promptly for testing and gave us our results quickly as well. Their prices were very competitive.

I enjoyed the fact that the homesafe inspection guy was knowledgeable and was willing to educate me on mold and provide real life examples/experiences.

Dallas came out to review a foreclosed home that I was considering buying. He arrived EARLY to make sure he could do the outside inspection before the rain. I found him extremely courteous and very knowledgeable. He invited me to shadow him during the inspection, a great learning process for me.

I was very pleased with HomeSafe Inspection from the very first phone call. Bob was friendly, competent and polite every time I called. Dallas (who did the inspection) was extremely knowledgable and thorough and nice to my three boys who ran around like wild men during the inspection. As a mother of a child with a chronic medical condition that causes severe respiratory illnesses, this inspection was well worth every penny since it found mold in the basement. We have no doubt saved hundreds in medical bills. The infrared really offers an extra layer of protection--and it is interesting to watch. I would highly recommend this company.
